12/2009- 09 is almost history.

It is hard to belive that Christmas is around the corner and another year is almost in the books! We wanted to take a minute to say thanks to all our GREAT customers and friends. You are helping us to accomplish our goal to be the most customer focused computer repair company in Michigan. For that we can't say THANK YOU enough.

11/2009- Computer winterization?

Of course you don't need to winterize your computer, but it may not be a bad idea to have it scanned for spyware or viruses. They can be slowing your computer W A Y down. Speaking of questions, Did you know that EBS is offering a bi-monthly call in program? We offered this up to our friends on MySpace first, but now it is open to everyone. Here are the details for this month. We will be hosting our next call at 5:15pm on Monday 11/26/2009. You must submit any questions by noon on 10/27. We will try to answer everyone's questions within the allotted time. The number for the call in will be provided via e-mail to anyone interested. 10/2009- All treat... no tricks!

We have had some cold weather lately and that can only indicate one thing... Winter is coming. So you ask yourself, "Self, what am I going to do all winter?" We have some exciting things planned so that your computing fun doesn't skip a beat.

We are getting ready to host our first webcast! We will be covering a few topics but mainly dealing with Windows 7. If you have any questions, please feel free to send them in.

09/2009- School is in session..

For better or worse, school is back in session. Make sure that the scholar or scholars in your house are not being held back by a slow computer. For the month of September, we are offering Free pickup and drop off service and $65 flat rate to remove any spyware or viruses from your computer (within 25 miles of Wyandotte). 08/2009- Fun for the end of summer!

First, I wanted to thank everyone for the huge response we have received since the street fair! we are happy to have new customers.. Don't forget to come by our booth down at the 3rd Friday event in Wyandotte on the 21st (The 3rd Friday of the Month). Here is a link to a PDF of the event. 07/2007 - Google to take over the world?

It seems that Google comes out with a new software gadget every time I turn around. The latest offering by Google is iGoogle. iGoogle is a portal that you setup to include the things you are interested in. Basically, you setup a start page that contains things like the weather for your area, or stocks, or news. Then set that start page to your default page and you no longer have to scour the web looking for information, it is all located in one centralized price. We have been using iGoogle for a while now and it has been very helpful. To check it out, click on the link www.igoogle.com. There are several other portals out there that you could try as well if you find that you don't like the Google interface. Just do a search for web portal and see what you find. Write in to us and let us know what you think of iGoogle or any portal that you are using.

06/2007 - Interesting article on why you need to wipe your hard drive:

The next time someone tries to talk you into using the services of a bunch of geeks, kindly refer them to this article HERE. This is why it is important to find a service that can meet your needs, not some major corporation that treats you and your issue as a number in a giant ticketing system. Also, don't forget to wipe your hard drive clean before getting rid of it!!

04/2007 - Removing headaches, one at a time!

Are you having problems getting your data to migrate over to Windows Vista from XP? You can download a backup/restore utility that will help your data bridge these two operating systems (this also works for backups created with server 2003).
