Welcome to our website! We are a computer company that is based in lovely Wyandotte Michigan. Our service area is all of SE Michigan and northern Ohio. This is our main update page. Please have a look around and don't forget to come back often as we are always changing things around here. What's new : 07/2009- Time is fun when you are having flies :-) It is amazing that we are already into July! So many things are happening with EBS!! The first item is our booth at the Wyandotte Street Fair. We have prizes from many of our sponsors including Microsoft and Mozilla (firefox). We will have some Lenovo notebooks on display along with many other fun and exciting things. Make sure you stop by and say hi! We will also be at Wyandotte's 3rd Friday event on July 17th. There will be live music from noon until 11:00pm on the old theater lot on 1st street and Elm. We will be out with our booth and some more giveaways. Stop by there and signup to win! At the street fair we will be demoing Windows 7, the newest OS to be released by Microsoft. If you would like to see if your computer is ready to run Windows 7, head over to our download area and get the Windows 7 upgrade advisor. It will help you identify any issues you may have with hardware or software on your machine. Have a great summer! Thanks for being our customer. 06/2009- Entering Summer.. EBS is gearing up for the Wyandotte Street Fair! We will have a booth downtown during the street fair. Make sure you come by and say hi, sign up to win some great prizes. The fair runs from July 8th to July 11th. Here is a small glimpse at our new logo. It is also that time of year again where startupnation is looking for the best 2009 businesses. 04/2009- VIRUS INFO... If you have been watching the news lately, You may have heard about the Conficker virus (also known as the Downadup or Kido virus). This is scheduled to "activate" on April fools day (April 1st). The scary thing about this virus is that no one (other than its creators) knows what it will do :-( It could do absolutely nothing however, current ideas are that it will try to create a network of infected computers to attack a larger network, or that it will send personal information to its creators. Sounds nasty? You bet, so make sure you are protected. Click the links below to download a program that will help remove the virus. To find out more about the virus and it's anticipated activation date, head over to our forums. The downloads below are for individual machines. If you need to scan your network, please give us a call. We are offering reduced rates on all virus removal throughout the month of April.
03/2009- Springing Forward! **** 03/28/2009 **** EARTH HOUR! On March 28th, 2009, Electronic Brain Solutions will be participating in earth hour. From 8:30 pm until 9:30 pm we will be shutting off all the lights in our office and our house. We will be doing this along with millions of other people across the globe to reduce the load on our precious earth and to make a global statement about climate change. As promised, we are rolling out our first contest for 2009! We are only promoting this contest on our website and myspace page so if you are reading this, you are already at an advantage! With the snow flying all around, let me take a moment to remind you that we offer in home service as well as FREE pickup and drop off service. You don't even need to lift a finger, let us do all the work and get your computer up and running quickly and at an affordable price! Anytime you have enlisted our support services, you know that we encourage you to keep your software up to date. Not only you operating system but also your anti virus and anti-spyware. There are a handful of other programs that also require updating from time to time. Adobe Reader is one of these programs. However, what do you do if a program has a know bug that hasn't been fixed yet? Make sure that when you open up e-mail and download files, they are from a trusted source. This week there was a flaw discovered in Adobe reader and the fix may not be out until march. Read all about it by clicking HERE. 01/2009- PCG update / No more analog TV :-( ***UPDATED 1/27/2009** I hope everyone is off to a GREAT start for 2009. Here at EBS, we hit the ground running. We have several promotions that we are working on for the new year! We hope these promotions will help you save some money while experiencing our amazingly awesome service. UPDATE: The date has been pushed to June of 2009 for you to get your converter boxes and get them setup! EBS is now offering an in home DTV service to get your television ready for the transition. We will help you with the the application for the $40 coupon, the purchase of a converter box, and installation. Prices start as low as $25!! If you or anyone you know need help making the transition, please give us a call! Don't wait to do this, as EVERYONE has to be changed over by 2009. Also if you know someone who doesn't have satellite or cable, please tell them about this.
12/2008- HAPPY HOLIDAYS! We here at EBS wanted to take time out from fixing computers and say THANK YOU to everyone of our customers. You are the reason we stay in business. Not just because you pay your bill to us. We treat each and everyone of our customers like friends and family. It is a joy to help you when your computer crashes and you think you have lost all your data. The look on people's faces when their computer is up and running again is priceless. I hope we have made everyone feel a little better about computers and computing! Don't forget that it is not too late to purchase gift certificates by clicking HERE.
